Campaigns and data sheets live inside a brand. Use them when one ad is not enough — you are planning a set of creatives, or you need one ad for every product, vehicle, store, or offer in a spreadsheet.
Open Campaigns from the brand home Campaign card, New campaign, or the sidebar. A campaign is a living document for this brand: planning, drafts, and the creative you generate from that plan.
Campaigns can inherit brand guidelines. If you override a section in the campaign, removing the override returns that section to the brand guidelines.
The campaign strategy Legal section can add disclaimers, prohibited claims, and policy for that campaign. It cannot remove the account floor or brand rules. Set the account floor under Compliance settings.
To give a campaign a feed, open its Personalization section and Attach a data sheet. The AI interview can then read it, and a personalized set started from the campaign starts with that sheet selected.
Open Data sheets from the brand sidebar or the launchpad's Data sheets link. Upload a CSV, TSV, or XLSX file — a product feed, an inventory, a location list. Each column gets a type (text, number, date, URL, or image URL), and you pick the key column that identifies each row.
Every upload and every key change creates a new, read-only version, so you can replace a sheet without breaking work made from the old one.
Full guide: Data sheets.
A creative set turns one design into many ads: one ad per sheet row, in every size you choose. You design once, decide which parts change per row, check the exact cost, and approve.
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| Template | The layered static ad or rich media ad you personalize. Its design never changes when you preview rows |
| Variable | A part of the template that can change per row, such as headline, price, or product_image |
| Mapping | How each variable is filled for a sheet: from a column, a format, fixed text, or AI |
| Set | One template × the rows you picked × the sizes you picked |
| Ad | One output of the set: one row in one size (or one HTML5 bundle per row for rich media) |
| Quote | The exact credit cost of a set, shown before you approve |
Personalized creative sets are rolling out to teams gradually. If you do not see Personalize with data in the layer editor, or Sets in the brand sidebar, your team does not have them yet. Contact support to ask for access. Data sheets themselves are available in every brand.
Your plan also decides whether creative sets are included and how many ads and new AI images one set can make. The review tells you when a set goes over a limit.
